John Wimberley has been a photographic artist for 44 years, and since 1981 has photographed full-time.  Now, John has distilled all of his experience into 10 concise lessons that begin by laying a solid technical foundation, then progresses to methods that facilitate your own unique, individual creativity.

Without a thorough grounding in fundamental technique, the potential of our photography will always be limited.  Wimberley's Top Ten Tips are essential knowledge for all photographers, whether using film or digital equipment, or any level of experience.

The University of Washington Vancouver is a beautiful campus set overlooking open fields and vistas of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood.  The computer room is for Mac users only, but the programs and lectures will be beneficial to any computer platform.  If you wish to bring your own laptop, arrangements can be made.  Just let us know ahead of time, please.
